“ Two Pittsburgh Locations- one in the Waterfront and one in the North Shore. I checked out the one in the North Shore. They have indoor and outdoors seating. The outdoors seating has fire pits which make it super fun and cozy. They've got a full bar as well as tons of tables...great spot for groups! They have games like pinball, shuffleboard, fuse ball and lanes for duck pin bowling. The food and drink selections are great. I had the Rock Me Baby for my drink- it is vanilla vodka, passion fruit syrup, lime juice and perfect bubbly prosecco! It is served in a coop glass with the cutest little rubber duck! They recently got a new food menu that is so good! I tried the pizza box nachos which are perfect for sharing. It is house made corn tortilla chips, chili cheese sauce, pickled jalapenos, Pico de Gallo and sour cream! It is the perfect appetizer and the fact it comes in a pizza box makes it so fun! Tried the cheesesteak Sammie, which was shaved ribeye, charred peppers & onions, cheese sauce on a hoagie roll, this comes with beer battered fries. The meat on this sandwich was so flavorful! Can't skip dessert- tried their tempura fried Oreos which are fried Oreos tossed in powdered sugar and serve with a chocolate sauce. This totally hit the spot! ”
“ I went with the City Girls Who Walk and we all shared a bunch of the new shareables on the menu. We ordered the pizza box loaded fries which were so good, I love how crispy the fries were! We also got the fried mozzarella bites which had an incredible cheese pull. We got the pretzel bites and I loved the mustard that came with them. We also got the onion ring tower which was probably my favorite, and the sauce that comes with them is so good! And lastly we got the pizza box nachos which used to be my go to on the old menu. I think I like the old menu version of them better. I can't wait to try the rest of the new menu items next time I go. Everything sounded so good. The service was amazing. And it was pretty busy for a Thursday night!! ”
“ I stopped by Shorty's yesterday in the evening and the inside decor is really pretty! I liked how they wrapped the tables with wrapping paper and I really like the giant ornaments on the ceiling near the duck pin bowling. Our server was super nice and friendly. The seasonal cocktails we got came in really cute glasses and cups. I particularly enjoyed the shots in little Christmas trees. The cocktails themselves were decent, nothing to write home about but still alright. The food was just okay for the most part. I did like the pigs in a blanket and the meatballs. The meatloaf came with plain broccoli and it didn't seem like the mashed potatoes had any butter or salt in them. ”
“ We had a great time bowling duck pins. Prices are decent. They have good food but it's all Latino so if you don't like that type of food you'll be hungry. Drinks were great. We have been there a couple times now and will be going back. ”
“ Brison is AMAZING. He is the absolute BEST!!! Everyone needs a BRISON. His energy is unmatched! ”
“ Each year I have an end of the year social for my athletes. We decided on Shorty's on the North Shore. I had never been to Shorty's and did not know what to expect. We needed a space for 75 to 100 people. I wanted something that was comfortable, cozy, and a good price point. My contact, Aliza, for the event texted and made sure all my needs were met. The space is designed very nicely with a lot of hangout spots for many many people to enjoy. It's large yet cozy with different sitting areas. Outside there are fire pits with cornhole. Inside is spacious with pinball games and bowling. It made it a great location for people of any age. The Staff, Amanda, Bryson and Grave, were very attentive and super nice. I liked the ambiance and energy of being along the river between our stadiums. I also liked if you were in a small group you could find an intimate area to be to yourselves. I definitely recommend Shorty's on the North Shore. If there is a Steelers or Pirates game you are unable to park on street. You will need to use a parking lot or parking garage. The parking lot was $20.00. ”
“ If you are in the north shore, stop by Shorty's! It's so fun. There is bowling and arcade games. Outdoor seating with a fire pit with a view of the river. We had a mock-tail meet up there for sober friends because Shorty's has mock-tail menu with great options. I got the mock-tail espresso martini, and mojito. We also shared apps the food was so good. I highly recommend their case queso. The staff were AMAZING. I will be back! ”
“ Cute place with some arcade games! Loved the beer list!!!! Didn't bowl so can't say anything about that. ”
“ I can't exclaim enough how happy I am that there's a place that offers some kind of entertainment in PGH other than the usual bar scene . I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday night and considering how busy they were , we all got served within minutes and was able to bowl (duck pins) within a half hour . Everything was so much fun! The duck pins were great and kept us entertained for some time . We then went outside where they had fire pits with an oversized jenga, which we indulged in. We finished the night by coming in and taking a group photo in their Photo Booth which created a ton of laughs ! The drinks were phenomenal and I think how they portion out the bowling with allotting everyone an hour, keeps things moving perfectly and quickly. Would love to go back here again. ”
